cWj: Makes a beautiful cake. Cake releases easily from pan. ( use Crisco shortening, with a pastry brush, then flour ) I have a dozen or so Nordic Ware pans, and they are all nice, quality pans.
D A Brown: I can't say enough about this sturdy, well made, beautiful pan. No matter what kind o f cake I make using this pan, I always get floods of compliments. It will make a beautiful addition to any dessert table. It's also surprisingly easy to clean.
David B. Gottlieb: I have three Nordic Ware Bundt pans now and a mini Bundt pan that I haven't used yet and I don't know how I ever baked without them. They are quite lovely and look good hanging on a wall but that is not why I bought them. They release the cake; easily. Give the cake a few minutes to cool, invert onto a cooling grid and voila! The cake comes out of the pan all in one piece and the cake surface has a lovely polished look to it.They cook evenly. My older pans had many faults such as under cooking around the center, sticking no matter what I did to grease and flour them and sometimes burning. Not with these. They clean up easily. Despite being dishwasher unfriendly they come clean quickly with hot water and a wipe and then are ready for another round of baking. When the day is done they go back to a hook on the wall to look pretty.I read that Nordic Ware was first to introduce the Bundt pan in the States. Their expertise shows. I will likely never use another brand of Bundt pan.
DD: Such a lovely bundt cake when using this bundt cake pan. Heavy duty and non-stick Nordicware is great. I find you must not fill the pan over 2/3 full and usually should let the cake cool 10 minutes before inverting. Baker's Joy is great for detail with non-stick surface. I have found great recipes in Bundt cake cookbooks and online.
d.d.owens: The Cathedral Bundt Pan is heavy and strong, makes for good even temperature while baking. Because of it's detail I just pop it in the dishwasher to clean it--it comes out 100% clean every time. It makes a very impressive cake that always gets a lot of compliments. I like to use it for Christmas, Easter, church functions and wakes--it's just the thing.
