K. Schonlau "MysteriesinStL": I have several OXO products so when I purchased this, I expected a great product. I was not disappointed. It spins the water out of my salad preparations with minimal effort by me. The pump action is easy to use. It is easy to clean and you can store your lettuce in the container, as well.
K. White: This is easy and comfortable to use. It quickly removes a tremendous amount of liquid from whatever you spin. I love it!
kwissy "kwissy": This is a great salad spinner - easily gets all the water out of your greens. I even use it for storing extra greens I don't use in the fridge. FYI, the size of this spinner is good for 2 people - you might want the bigger size if you're feeding more than that (or you will just have to keep spinning multiple times! Spinner handle snaps down in place for flat, easy storage.
Kyosaku "Jerry J.": I like the pump action. It's a lot easier than cranking and helps hold the spinner in place as you push down on it; almost a one-handed operation. I have used it to spin salads, and a bunch of cabbage before salting it into the saurkraut crock. A bit pricey, but so convenient it's a wash.
Laddie: We had the original Oxo spinner for years but it was lost in the recent Sandy storm in NJ. We reordered our old favorite and were surprised to receive this new model. It's more stoutly constructed than before and the shape is a little different, making the moisture extraction more efficient. Best of all it's a lot easier to clean the top. All to often improvements to a successful product are anything but; this is a happy exception.
