JDoe: Great to have a pie server and cutter all in one instrument. Great quality (as usual in OXO stuff). Good handle w/ sensible grip. Yes, I highly recommend this product to others.
J N. Brabec: Whenever I am in need of a kitchen utensil, I usually look at the OXO brand first. OXO's products are well designed and durable and have proven themselves to me over the years. When I noticed that the finish of my ancient, hand-me-down pie server was coming off, I first found this otherOXO SteeL Pie Server. The very first time I used it I noted lots of flexibility at the point where the handle meets the spade. I wondered how long it would last.Three years turns out to be the answer. I was mid-way cutting up a cheesecake for serving when it snapped. When I searched for a replacement, I found OXO now offers two models. Since I'd already tried the other, I chose this one as it's replacement. And, bonus, it's a dollar less.Compared to the other, the two main differences are that this one doesn't have as flashy a handle (less embellishment) and the connection between the handle and spade is not as flexible. The serrated edges make cutting cakes and pies easy and it is plenty flexible enough to slide easily under the piece of dessert and pull it out for serving.
Joehorse: Finally..................a Spatula that "Actually and Factually Works as Advertised" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was skeptical, of course, as all of us are who have tried (and failed most of the time) to get that famed "First Piece of Pie" out without it tearing up and looking too bad to serve to anyone...........but my skepticism is now gone!!!!!This smaller and better designed spatula works really well. Be careful with the edges as they are very sharp and will cut easily. This one is Great !!!!!!!!
John T. White "Jumborabbit": This is one of the best made pie servers I have ever owned and the price was very reasonable...it is made with heavy gauge stainless steal and it has no give at all..this is a well made product ...nothing cheap about this pie server at all..buy it ..you wont be disappointed
KaliMa: Very nice pie server. Cuts on both sides, (great for lefties like me) and you can saw cake with it, too, if necessary. Well-made, feels good in the hand, etcetera. Can't really think of any cons, so far.
